* I was very hesitant contacting 4 Pillars at first. I am so happy that I did. My first meeting with Kyle was awesome! He is very kind, patient and he explained the many questions I had. He explained the whole process and helped me determine which route to take. No pressure at all! Definitely a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The credit counselling at Fresh Start BC is even better, as it’s helped me to make a budget and stick to it. This letter is to thank the service of the 4pillars Consulting Group and Chris Grew on the fantastic work he has done on my behalf to settle my debt and provide me with the tools I need to rebuild my credit and secure my financial future.

When I first contacted Chris he agreed to see me for a free consultation. At this time my wife was already in Bankruptcy and working with a Trustee. We were scared, frustrated and disappointed with the lack of support she gave us. We received very little information and were told that the only choice my wife had to deal with her debt was Bankruptcy. It became very clear to me that the trustee wasn’t working for us at all but against us and for the creditors. This is when I decided to seek other options for myself in dealing with my debt.

My first meeting with Chris was great. He provided me with lots of information, explained different options that were available to me and made me feel like my situation was not as bleak as I thought. I felt like he really cared about me. It felt good to know that he represented me and NOT my creditors and would fight for the best settlement I could get.

I let some time lapse after that first meeting and other than an email or two, I didn’t hear from Chris. He told me that my decision was mine alone and that if I wanted to work with him it would be up to me to initiate the contact. While I put off dealing with my situation I was notified by my employer that they had received a Garnishment order from one of my creditors and that my next pay cheque would have $600 taken from it. In a panic, I called Chris.

Within a two week period he put together everything I needed to file a Consumer Proposal and have the Garnishment halted before it had even begun. Even with all his other clients, he made me feel like I was his only client. He was worth every penny of the fees he charged me and saved me ten times what he cost.

Having witnessed firsthand how my wife was treated by a Bankruptcy Trustee and how I was treated by 4Pillars I can tell you it makes all the difference in the world having someone in YOUR corner.

Without Chris’ follow up, attention to detail and amazing work ethic, I would not have the peace and security I have right now.

I would like to say a big thank you Chris Grew and 4 Pillars.
